Kevin Koe (Calgary, AB) qualified for the 2018 Ashley HomeStore Curling Classic playoffs, dropping their quarterfinals match 5-3 against Matt Dunstone (Regina, SK). of the 2018 Ashley HomeStore Curling Classic in Penticton, British Columbia, Canada;

Koe finished 4-1 in the 24-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Koe defeated Qiang Zou (Beijing, CHN) 7-2, then won 6-0 against Tyler Tardi (Langley, BC) and 8-3 against Kirk Muyres (Saskatoon, SK). Koe went on to lose 6-4 against Glen Muirhead (Perth, SCO). Koe responded with a 7-2 win over Neil Dangerfield (Victoria, BC) in their final qualifying round match.

Koe earned 24.422 world rankings points for their Top 6 finish in the Ashley HomeStore Curling Classic, remaining in 3rd place overall on the World Ranking Standings with 478.173 total points. Koe ranks 1st overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 262.111 points earned so far this season.
