Jones went on to lose 7-5 against Rick Rowsell (St. John's, NL). Jones responded with a 5-1 win over Stuart Thompson (Dartmouth, NS). Jones went on to lose 7-2 against James Grattan (Oromocto, NB) in their final qualifying round match.
Jones earned 9.006 world rankings points for their Top 5 finish in the WFG Jim Sullivan Curling Classic, moving up 10 spots the World Ranking Standings into 92nd place overall with 47.210 total points. Jones ranks 82nd overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 34.134 points earned so far this season.
