Corryn Brown (Kamloops, BC) won 6-4 over Diane Gushulak (New Westminster, BC) in the Final of the King Cash Spiel, held September 14 - 16, 2018 at the Golden Ears Curling Club in Maple Ridge, Canada. To advance to the championship game, Brown won 7-3 over Sarah Wark (Chilliwack, BC) in the semifinals of the 2018 King Cash Spiel in Maple Ridge, British Columbia, Canada;
 
Brown finished 3-1 in the 10-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Brown lost 7-5 to Gushulak, then responded with a 8-4 win over Brette Richards (Kelowna, BC). Brown won 6-2 against Kayte Gyles (New Westminster, BC), then won 6-3 against Danielle Shaughnessy (Nanaimo, BC) in their final qualifying round match.
 
For winning the King Cash Spiel Championship title, Brown earned 19.982 world rankings points along with the $4,000CDN first prize cheque, moving up 18 spots the World Ranking Standings into 53rd place overall with 60.691 total points. Brown ranks 30th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 19.982 points earned so far this season.
