Rupp/Wunderlin lost 7-3 to Carole Howald/Matthias Perret (Langenthal, SUI) where Rupp/Wunderlin responded with a 9-2 win over Pia-Lisa Schoell/Konstantin Kampf (Fuessen, GER). Rupp/Wunderlin went on to lose 8-4 against Cynthia Gertsch/Cyril Gertsch (Duebendorf, SUI) in their final qualifying round match.
