Jennifer Jones (Winnipeg, MB) won 8-5 over Kerri Einarson (Winnipeg, MB) in the Final of the Home Hardware Canada Cup of Curling, held December 5 - 9, 2018 in Estevan, Saskatchewan. To advance to the championship game, Jones won 8-4 over Rachel Homan (Ottawa, ON) in the semifinals of the 2018 Home Hardware Canada Cup of Curling in Estevan, Saskatchewan;
Jones finished 5-2 in the 8-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Jones defeated Chelsea Carey (Edmonton, AB) 7-5, then won 9-7 against Darcy Robertson (Winnipeg, MB). Jones went on to lose 6-3 against Einarson. Jones responded with a 9-5 win over Homan. Jones won 7-4 against Alli Flaxey (Winnipeg, MB), then won 9-6 against Casey Scheidegger (Lethbridge, AB). Jones went on to lose 7-5 against Laura Walker (Edmonton, AB) in their final qualifying round match.
For winning the Home Hardware Canada Cup of Curling Championship title, Jones earned 87.138 world rankings points along with the $21,500CDN first prize cheque, remaining in 3rd place overall on the World Ranking Standings with 518.136 total points. Jones ranks 4th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 285.376 points earned so far this season.
