Charley Thomas (Toronto, ON) run at the 2018 GSOC Tour Challenge Tier 2 came to an end in the semifinals with a 6-5 loss to Kirk Muyres (Saskatoon, SK). of the 2018 GSOC Tour Challenge Tier 2 in Thunder Bay, Ontario; Thomas advanced through the quarterfinals with a 8-6 win over Kevin Flewwelling (Strathroy, ON). of the 2018 GSOC Tour Challenge Tier 2 in Thunder Bay, Ontario;

Thomas finished 3-1 in the 15-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Thomas defeated Dennis Bohn (Winnipeg, MB) 8-5, then won 5-4 against Glen Muirhead (Perth, SCO). Thomas went on to lose 8-7 against Andrew Stopera (Chaska, USA). Thomas responded with a 5-3 win over Tanner Horgan (Sudbury, NONT) in their final qualifying round match.

Thomas earned 26.350 world rankings points for their Top 3 finish in the GSOC Tour Challenge Tier 2.
