Nina Roth (Chaska, USA) run at the 2018 GSOC Tour Challenge Tier 1 came to an end in the semifinals with a 6-5 loss to Rachel Homan (Ottawa, ON). of the 2018 GSOC Tour Challenge Tier 1 in Thunder Bay, Ontario; Roth advanced through the quarterfinals with a 6-5 win over Jennifer Jones (Winnipeg, MB). of the 2018 GSOC Tour Challenge Tier 1 in Thunder Bay, Ontario;

Roth finished 3-1 in the 15-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Roth defeated Silvana Tirinzoni (Aarau, SUI) 6-4, then won 6-2 against Isabella Wrana (Stockholm, SWE). Roth went on to lose 6-5 against Jones. Roth responded with a 7-6 win over Allison Flaxey (Winnipeg, MB) in their final qualifying round match.

Roth earned 43.807 world rankings points for their Top 3 finish in the GSOC Tour Challenge Tier 1. For week 13 of the event schedule, Roth did not improve upon their best events, remaining at th place on the World Ranking Standings with total points. Roth ranks th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with points earned so far this season.
