Mary-Anne Arsenault (Halifax, NS) lost 5-3 to Kerry Galusha (Yellowknife, NT) in the Final of the Royal LePage Women's Fall Classic, held November 1 - 4, 2018 at the North Grenville Curling Club in Kemptville, Canada. To advance to the championship game, Arsenault won 7-5 over Isabella Wrana (Stockholm, SWE) in the semifinals of the 2018 Royal LePage Women's Fall Classic in Kemptville, Ontario, Canada; and won 5-1 over Cathy Auld (Toronto, ON) in the quarterfinals. of the 2018 Royal LePage Women's Fall Classic in Kemptville, Ontario, Canada;
Arsenault finished 3-1 in the 23-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Arsenault defeated Courtney Auld (Kingston, ON) 5-4, then won 6-5 against Auld. Arsenault went on to lose 10-5 against Danielle Inglis (Etobicoke, ON). Arsenault responded with a 7-3 win over Lauren Horton (Waterloo, ON) in their final qualifying round match.
With their runner-up finish at the Royal LePage Women's Fall Classic, Arsenault take home 24.029 world rankings points along with the $4,000CDN prize. Arsenault move up 4 spots after posting a net gain of 15.363 points improving upon their best 5 results so far this season, ranking 25th overall with 145.422 total points on the World Ranking Standings.
