Emily Deschenes (Manotick, ON) run at the 2018 OJCT U18 Championship Invitational came to an end in the semifinals with a 8-5 loss to Veronica Bernard (Richmond Hill, ON). of the 2018 OJCT U18 Championship Invitational in Toronto, Ontario, Canada;
 
Deschenes finished 3-1 in the 0-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Deschenes defeated Sophia Johnston (Toronto, ON) 5-3, then won 3-2 against Bernard. Deschenes went on to lose 4-3 against Bella Croisier (Sudbury, ON). Deschenes responded with a 6-5 win over Bernard in their final qualifying round match.
 
. For week 38 of the event schedule, Deschenes did not improve upon their best events, remaining at th place on the World Ranking Standings with total points. Deschenes ranks th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with points earned so far this season.
