McEwen won 8-4 against Scott McDonald (Kingston, ON) in their final qualifying round match.

McEwen earned 22.508 world rankings points for their preliminary round wins, remaining in 12th place overall on the World Ranking Standings with a net gain of 12.735 after improving upon their best so far this season. McEwen ranks 12th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 255.036 points earned so far this season.
