Willsey won 8-7 against Drew Springer (Regina, SK), then won 9-4 against Jack Smeltzer (Fredericton, NB) and 4-3 against Karsten Sturmay (Edmonton, AB). Willsey won 6-5 against Alex Champ (Toronto, ON). Willsey went on to lose 8-2 against Robert Mayhew (Halifax, NS) in their final qualifying round match.

Willsey earned 2.475 world rankings points for their Top 4 finish in the USports Men's Curling Championship, moving up 29 spots the World Ranking Standings into 274th place overall with 11.795 total points.
