Lauren Marks (Leduc, AB) run at the 2018 AJCT Players' Championship came to an end in the semifinals with a 8-2 loss to Selena Sturmay (Edmonton, AB).
 
Marks finished 3-0 in the 0-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Marks defeated Kathryn Lepine (Calgary, AB) 6-5, then won 8-4 against Ryleigh Bakker (Calgary, AB) and 7-6 against Jessica Wytrychowski (Calgary, AB) in their final qualifying round match.
