In their opening game, Mason lost 7-3 to John Damen (Strathmore, AB), droppimg another game, 9-2 to Jayden Cramer (Barrhead, AB) where Mason responded with a 7-2 win over Kaylee Cinnamon (Calgary, AB). Mason won 7-1 against Hannah Terry (Lethbridge, AB) in their final qualifying round match.
