In their opening game, Kostiw defeated Juliana Josefchak (Calgary, AB) 8-7, then won 9-2 against Kamryn Lund (Fairview, AB). Kostiw went on to lose 7-6 against Zoe Cinnamon (Cochrane, AB). Kostiw lost 7-5 to Brennin Turner (St. Albert, AB) in their final qualifying round match.
