In their opening game, Louie defeated Cole Rivard (Morinville, AB) 10-3, then went on to lose 8-1 against Andrew Nowell (St. Albert, AB). Louie responded with a 6-5 win over Mackenzie Konschuh (Crossfield, AB). Louie won 7-6 against Max Albrecht (Manning, AB) in their final qualifying round match.
