Greg Drummond (Stirling, SCO) lost 7-5 to Bruce Mouat (Edinburgh, SCO) in the Final of the Scottish Curling Championships, held February 10 - 17, 2018 at the Perth Curling Club in Perth, Scotland. To advance to the championship game, Drummond won 8-5 over Cameron Bryce (Borders, SCO) in the semifinals of the 2018 Scottish Curling Championships in Perth, Scotland, Scotland;
Drummond finished 7-2 in the 10-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Drummond lost 7-6 to Cameron McNay (Edinburgh, SCO), then responded with a 5-1 win over Tom Brewster (Aberdeen, SCO). Drummond won 8-2 against Callum Kinnear (Perth, SCO), then won 6-4 against Murray Young (Forfar, SCO) and 3-2 against Fraser Hare (Stranraer, SCO). Drummond went on to lose 4-3 against Mouat. Drummond responded with a 6-5 win over Stuart Taylor (Glawgow, SCO). Drummond won 7-4 against Bryce, then won 9-2 against Graham Shaw (Perth, SCO) in their final qualifying round match.
With their runner-up finish at the Scottish Curling Championships, Drummond take home 25.268 world rankings points. For week 28 of the event schedule, Drummond did not improve upon their best events, remaining at th place on the World Ranking Standings with total points. Drummond ranks th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with points earned so far this season.
