Stern finished 6-4 in the 6-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Stern defeated Cynthia Gertsch (Dubendorf, SUI) 10-1, then won 6-5 against Chantale Widmer (Schaffhausen, SUI) and 5-4 against Paetz. Stern went on to lose 6-3 against Binia Feltscher (Flims, SUI). Stern responded with a 7-4 win over Ursi Hegner (Uzwil, SUI). Stern went on to lose 5-4 against Feltscher. Stern responded with a 6-5 win over Gertsch. Stern went on to lose 7-6 against Paetz. Stern responded with a 7-6 win over Widmer. Stern went on to lose 7-2 against Hegner in their final qualifying round match.
Stern earned 13.082 world rankings points for their Top 3 finish in the Swiss Curling Championship, moving up 6 spots the World Ranking Standings into 60th place overall with 103.312 total points. Stern ranks 44th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 77.006 points earned so far this season.
