Hess went on to lose 7-6 against Schwaller. Hess lost 8-7 to Attinger. Hess lost 8-6 to Hess. Hess lost 7-4 to Pfister in their final qualifying round match.

Hess earned 1.817 world rankings points for their preliminary round wins, moving up 2 spots the World Ranking Standings into 156th place overall with 31.562 total points. Hess ranks 119th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 27.917 points earned so far this season.
