Schwaller won 5-4 against Jan Hess (Zug, SUI), then won 8-3 against Andrin Schnider (St. Gallen, SUI) in their final qualifying round match.

For winning the Swiss Super League Championship title, Schwaller earned 12.556 world rankings points.
