Girvan lost 8-5 to Marlene Vaughan (Saint John, NB) where Girvan responded with a 10-4 win over Connie Bothwell (Fredericton, NB). Girvan won 6-2 against Frances Meehan (Saint John, NB). Girvan went on to lose 9-3 against Nancy Steele (Carleton, NB) in their final qualifying round match.

. For week of the event schedule, Girvan did not improve upon their best events, remaining at th place on the World Ranking Standings with total points. Girvan ranks th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with points earned so far this season.
