Jason Montgomery (Victoria, BC) run at the 2018 belairdirect BC Mens Championship came to an end in the semifinals with a 6-5 loss to Sean Geall (Kelowna, BC). of the 2018 belairdirect BC Mens Championship in Parksville, British Columbia;

Montgomery finished 5-2 in the 12-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Montgomery defeated Chris Medford (Cranbrook, BC) 6-5, then won 7-5 against Brent Pierce (New Westminster, BC). Montgomery went on to lose 9-7 against Jim Cotter (Vernon, BC). Montgomery lost 8-6 to Pierce where Montgomery responded with a 8-5 win over Wylie Eden (Kelowna, BC). Montgomery won 9-7 against Grant Dezura (Maple Ridge, BC), then won 7-6 against Pierce in their final qualifying round match.

Montgomery earned 9.520 world rankings points for their Top 3 finish in the belairdirect BC Mens Championship, moving up 12 spots the World Ranking Standings into 127th place overall with 44.956 total points. Montgomery ranks 92nd overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 40.239 points earned so far this season.
