Sean Geall (Kelowna, BC) won 9-7 over Jim Cotter (Vernon, BC) in the Final of the belairdirect BC Mens Championship, held January 30 - February 4, 2018 in Parksville, British Columbia. To advance to the championship game, Geall won 6-5 over Jason Montgomery (Victoria, BC) in the semifinals of the 2018 belairdirect BC Mens Championship in Parksville, British Columbia;
Geall finished 4-1 in the 12-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Geall defeated Wes Craig (Victoria, BC) 7-3, then won 7-5 against Dean Joanisse (Maple Ridge, BC). Geall went on to lose 7-6 against Cotter. Geall responded with a 4-2 win over Glen Jackson (Victoria, BC). Geall won 8-3 against Brent Pierce (New Westminster, BC) in their final qualifying round match.
For winning the belairdirect BC Mens Championship Championship title, Geall earned 15.680 world rankings points. For week 26 of the event schedule, Geall did not improve upon their best events, remaining at th place on the World Ranking Standings with total points. Geall ranks th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with points earned so far this season.
