After advancing directly to the championship game, Terry Odishaw (Moncton, NB) lost 10-4 to James Grattan (Oromocto, NB) in the Final of the Papa Johns New Brunswick Tankard, held February 7 - 11, 2018 at the Miramichi Curling Club in Miramichi, Canada.

Odishaw finished 5-2 in the 8-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Odishaw lost 10-6 to Jeremy Mallais (Saint John, NB), then responded with a 8-3 win over Scott Jones (Moncton, NB). Odishaw won 6-4 against Ryan Cain (Fredericton, NB), then won 6-5 against Wayne Tallon (Fredericton, NB). Odishaw went on to lose 8-5 against Marcel Robichaud (Moncton, NB). Odishaw responded with a 8-6 win over Charlie Sullivan (Saint John, NB). Odishaw won 6-5 against Grattan in their final qualifying round match.

With their runner-up finish at the Papa Johns New Brunswick Tankard, Odishaw take home 5.363 world rankings points, moving up 4 spots the World Ranking Standings into 112th place overall with 56.477 total points. Odishaw ranks 103rd overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 35.465 points earned so far this season.
