Emil Hermansson (Ostersund, SWE) run at the 2018 Swedish Junior Mens Championship came to an end in the semifinals with a 8-0 loss to Daniel Magnusson (Karlstad, SWE). of the 2018 Swedish Junior Mens Championship in Karlstad, Sweden;

Hermansson finished 4-2 in the 7-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Hermansson defeated Kevin Mattsson (Ostersund, SWE) 4-3, then went on to lose 5-2 against Magnusson. Hermansson lost 5-2 to Mans Winge (Sundbyberg, SWE) where Hermansson responded with a 7-1 win over Axel Landelius (Mjolby, SWE). Hermansson won 7-5 against Robin Ahlberg (Gavle, SWE), then won 10-1 against Johan Engqvist (Harnosand, SWE) in their final qualifying round match.

Hermansson earned 4.239 world rankings points for their Top 3 finish in the Swedish Junior Mens Championship.
