In their opening game, Mann lost 8-1 to Michael Vereschagin (Saskatoon, SK), droppimg another game, 11-1 to Michael Carss (Saskatoon, SK) where Mann responded with a 10-9 win over Vereschagin. Mann went on to lose 8-6 against Aron Hershmiller (Yorkton, SK) in their final qualifying round match.

Mann earned 0.380 world rankings points for their preliminary round wins, moving up 39 spots the World Ranking Standings into 553rd place overall with 0.475 total points. Mann ranks 459th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 0.380 points earned so far this season.
