Daniel Selke (Regina, SK) run at the 2018 SaskTel Tankard Southern Qualifier came to an end in the semifinals with a 7-6 loss to Jason Ackerman (Regina, SK). of the 2018 SaskTel Tankard Southern Qualifier in Moose Jaw, Saskatchewan, Canada;
 
Selke finished 4-1 in the 9-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Selke defeated Reagan Hadden (Gull Lake, SK) 9-4, then went on to lose 6-4 against Wade St. Onge (Estevan, SK). Selke responded with a 9-7 win over Ben Gamble (Regina, SK). Selke won 8-4 against Mike Bryson (Regina, SK), then won 6-4 against Ackerman in their final qualifying round match.
 
With their runner-up finish at the SaskTel Tankard Southern Qualifier, Selke take home 4.950 world rankings points. For week 24 of the event schedule, Selke did not improve upon their best events, remaining at th place on the World Ranking Standings with total points. Selke ranks th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with points earned so far this season.
