Ackerman won 7-6 against St. Onge. Ackerman went on to lose 6-4 against Selke. Ackerman responded with a 7-6 win over Mark Walter (Lampman, SK) in their final qualifying round match.

Ackerman earned 3.825 world rankings points for their Top 3 finish in the SaskTel Tankard Southern Qualifier. For week 24 of the event schedule, Ackerman did not improve upon their best events, remaining at th place on the World Ranking Standings with total points.
