To advance to the championship game, Dacey won 11-5 over Stuart Thompson (Dartmouth, NS) in the semifinals of the 2018 Nova Scotia Deloitte Tankard in Dartmouth, Nova Scotia, Canada;
 
Dacey finished 5-2 in the 8-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Dacey defeated Brent MacDougall (Halifax, NS) 7-6, then won 8-2 against Mike Flemming (Halifax, NS). Dacey went on to lose 7-4 against Kendal Thompson (Halifax, NS). Dacey lost 7-1 to Murphy where Dacey responded with a 8-3 win over Greg Power (Halifax, NS). Dacey won 8-6 against Thompson, then won 7-6 against Chad Stevens (Halifax, NS) in their final qualifying round match.
 
With their runner-up finish at the Nova Scotia Deloitte Tankard, Dacey take home 9.075 world rankings points, moving up 4 spots the World Ranking Standings into 86th place overall with 75.461 total points. Dacey ranks 52nd overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 66.644 points earned so far this season.
