Deschenes finished 4-1 in the 0-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Deschenes defeated Emilie Lovitt (Ottawa, ON) 7-2, then went on to lose 5-4 against Farrell. Deschenes responded with a 5-3 win over Kaleigh MacKay (Ottawa, ON). Deschenes won 9-3 against Lindsay Thorne (Ottawa, ON), then won 9-1 against Madison Horton (Carp, ON) in their final qualifying round match.
