Nathan Marshall (Paris, ON) qualified for the 2017 U21 Royal Slam playoffs, dropping their quarterfinals match 5-4 against Christopher Inglis (Toronto, ON).
 
Marshall finished 4-1 in the 0-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Marshall defeated Jed Currie (Kitchener-Waterloo, ON) 8-4, then went on to lose 6-3 against Hazen Enman (Whitby, ON). Marshall responded with a 5-3 win over John Paul Munich (Midland, MI). Marshall won 6-3 against Andrew Stopera (Blaine, USA), then won 8-3 against Ryan Fayaz (Thornhill, ON) in their final qualifying round match.
 
. For week 5 of the event schedule, Marshall did not improve upon their best events, remaining at th place on the World Ranking Standings with total points. Marshall ranks th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with points earned so far this season.
