Feltscher went on to lose 10-6 against Daniela Jentsch (Fuessen, GER). Feltscher responded with a 7-6 win over Diana Gaspari (Cortina d'Ampezzo, ITA) in their final qualifying round match.

Feltscher earned 12.636 world rankings points for their preliminary round wins.
