Diane Gushulak (New Westminster, BC) finished 5-2 in the 8-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Gushulak defeated
Randi Ludwar (Kelowna, BC) 10-3, then went on to lose 7-6 against Kesa Van Osch (Nanaimo, BC). Gushulak responded with a 6-5 win over Kayte Gyles (Surrey, BC). Gushulak won 5-2 against Kim Slattery (Vernon, BC), then won 8-4 against Holly Donaldson (Victoria, BC) and 9-4 against Corryn Brown (Kamloops, BC). Gushulak went on to lose 7-6 against Karla Thompson (Kamloops, BC) in their final qualifying round match.
 
Gushulak earned 4.950 world rankings points for their Top 4 finish in the BC Scotties. For week 22 of the event schedule, Gushulak did not improve upon their best events, remaining at th place on the World Ranking Standings with total points. Gushulak ranks th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with points earned so far this season.
