Corryn Brown (Kamloops, BC) finished 5-2 in the 8-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Brown defeated Holly Donaldson (Victoria, BC) 7-5, then won 5-4 against Kayte Gyles (Surrey, BC). Brown went on to lose 6-5 against Karla Thompson (Kamloops, BC). Brown responded with a 8-1 win over Kesa Van Osch (Nanaimo, BC). Brown won 11-3 against Randi Ludwar (Kelowna, BC). Brown went on to lose 9-4 against Diane Gushulak (New Westminster, BC). Brown responded with a 10-3 win over Kim Slattery (Vernon, BC) in their final qualifying round match.

Brown earned 7.013 world rankings points for their Top 3 finish in the BC Scotties. For week 22 of the event schedule, Brown did not improve upon their best events, remaining at th place on the World Ranking Standings with total points. Brown ranks th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with points earned so far this season.
