Casey Scheidegger (Grande Prairie, AB) won 8-6 over Shannon Kleibrink (Okotoks, AB) in the Final of the Jiffy Lube Alberta Scotties, held January 10 - 14, 2018 at the Medicine Hat Curling Club in Medicine Hat, Canada.
 
Scheidegger finished 4-1 in the 12-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Scheidegger defeated Nadine Scotland (Calgary, AB) 7-5, then went on to lose 9-6 against Val Sweeting (Edmonton, AB). Scheidegger responded with a 7-4 win over Laura Crocker (Edmonton, AB). Scheidegger won 5-4 against Kleibrink, then won 9-8 against Sweeting in their final qualifying round match.
