Sarah Mallais (Saint John, NB) lost 7-5 to Sylvie Robichaud (Moncton, NB) in the Final of the New Brunswick Scotties, held January 4 - 7, 2018 at the Curl Moncton in Moncton, Canada. To advance to the championship game, Mallais won 6-5 over Jennifer Armstrong (Saint John, NB) in the semifinals of the 2018 New Brunswick Scotties in Moncton, New Brunswick, Canada;

Mallais finished 3-2 in the 6-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Mallais lost 7-4 to Armstrong, then responded with a 7-6 win over Robichaud.
