Sylvie Robichaud (Moncton, NB) won 7-5 over Sarah Mallais (Saint John, NB) in the Final Robichaud advanced directly to the championship game after finishing first in the preliminary round. of the New Brunswick Scotties, held January 4 - 7, 2018 at the Curl Moncton in Moncton, Canada.
 
Robichaud finished 4-1 in the 6-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Robichaud defeated Shannon Tatlock (Moncton, NB) 10-3, then went on to lose 7-6 against Mallais. Robichaud responded with a 7-3 win over Samantha Crook (Sackville, NB). Robichaud won 8-7 against Justine Comeau (Fredericton, NB), then won 7-6 against Jennifer Armstrong (Saint John, NB) in their final qualifying round match.
 
For winning the New Brunswick Scotties Championship title, Robichaud earned 5.775 world rankings points, moving up 9 spots the World Ranking Standings into 109th place overall with 38.675 total points.
