Min Ji Kim (SongHyun, KOR) finished 4-5 in the 10-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Kim lost 7-4 to Isabella Wrana (Sundbyberg, SWE), then responded with a 8-6 win over Maia Ramsfjell (Lillehammer, NOR). Kim won 9-5 against Selina Witschonke (Luzern, SUI). Kim went on to lose 7-1 against Zi-Xin Wang (Harbin, CHN). Kim lost 7-4 to Kaitlyn Jones (Halifax, CAN) where Kim responded with a 8-5 win over Rebecca Morrison (Stirling, SCO). Kim went on to lose 8-6 against Madison Bear (Blaine, USA). Kim responded with a 7-5 win over Vlada Rumiantseva (Moscow, RUS). Kim went on to lose 5-3 against Dilsat Yildiz (Erzurum, TUR) in their final qualifying round match.
Kim earned 2.334 world rankings points for their preliminary round wins. For week 31 of the event schedule, Kim did not improve upon their best events, remaining at th place on the World Ranking Standings with total points. Kim ranks th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with points earned so far this season.
