Sawer Kaeser (Fort Smith, NT) finished 1-8 in the 14-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Kaeser lost 8-2 to Matthew Hall (Kitcher-Waterloo, ON), droppimg another game, 7-3 to Daniel Bruce (Corner Brook, NL). Kaeser lost 12-2 to Karsten Sturmay (Edmonton, AB). Kaeser lost 8-3 to Tanner Horgan (Sudbury, NONT). Kaeser lost 9-4 to Alex MacFadyen (Summerside, PEI) where Kaeser responded with a 17-2 win over Javen Komaksiutiksak (Iqaluit, NU). Kaeser went on to lose 10-2 against Joe Wallingham (Whitehorse, YK). Kaeser lost 10-4 to Rylan Kleiter (Saskatoon, SK). Kaeser lost 8-7 to Liam Marin (Saint John, NB) in their final qualifying round match.

Kaeser earned 0.595 world rankings points for their preliminary round wins. For week 24 of the event schedule, Kaeser did not improve upon their best events, remaining at th place on the World Ranking Standings with total points. Kaeser ranks th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with points earned so far this season.
