Mathieu Drapeau (Drummondville, QC) needed a tiebreaker to advance to the playoffs, Drapeau finished 2-1 in the 4-team qualifying round. . Drapeau responded with a 5-3 win over Stephane Michaud (Trois-Rivieres, QC) in their final qualifying round match.
