In their opening game, Villard defeated Daryl Shane (Listowel, ON) 8-2, then went on to lose 7-5 against Mark Bice (Sarnia, ON). Villard responded with a 7-6 win over Ryan Brown (Georgetown, ON). Villard went on to lose 8-4 against Joe Frans (Oakville, ON). Villard lost 9-3 to Brent Gray (Kitchener-Waterloo, ON) in their final qualifying round match.

Villard earned 1.050 world rankings points for their preliminary round wins. For week 19 of the event schedule, Villard did not improve upon their best events, remaining at th place on the World Ranking Standings with total points.
