Rob Retchless (Toronto, ON) finished 3-0 in the 12-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Retchless defeated Nathan Martin (Oshawa, ON) 7-3, then won 8-4 against Pat Ferris (Grimsby, ON) and 6-5 against Brent Ross (Harriston, ON) in their final qualifying round match.

For winning the Ontario Tankard - Qualifier 3 Championship title, Retchless earned 13.125 world rankings points. For week 19 of the event schedule, Retchless did not improve upon their best events, remaining at th place on the World Ranking Standings with total points. Retchless ranks th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with points earned so far this season.
