Shane Vollman (Regina, SK) qualified for the 2017 Estevan Power Dodge Curling Classic playoffs, dropping their quarterfinals match 7-3 against Randy Bryden (Regina, SK). of the 2017 Estevan Power Dodge Curling Classic in Estevan, Saskatchewan, Canada;

Vollman finished 2-1 in the 14-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Vollman defeated Bryden 7-2, then went on to lose 6-3 against Scott Bitz (Saskatoon, SK). Vollman responded with a 8-4 win over Mike Armstrong (Regina, SK) in their final qualifying round match.

Vollman earned 6.027 world rankings points for their Top 5 finish in the Estevan Power Dodge Curling Classic, moving up 29 spots the World Ranking Standings into 172nd place overall with 21.769 total points.
