Jacob Libbus (Black Diamond, AB) run at the 2017 Crestwood U18 Juvenile Mens Bonspiel came to an end in the semifinals with a 5-4 loss to Desmond Young (Airdrie, AB).
 
Libbus finished 3-1 in the 0-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Libbus defeated Ethan Martin (Calgary, AB) 7-3, then won 5-0 against Aaron Power (Edmonton, AB). Libbus went on to lose 5-2 against Nathan Molberg (St. Albert, AB). Libbus responded with a 7-4 win over Zach Davies (Calgary, AB) in their final qualifying round match.
