In their opening game, Mepstead defeated Tori Zemmelink (Palmerston, ON) 8-4, then went on to lose 7-6 against Alex Bertolo (Coldwater, ON). Mepstead lost 9-3 to Sarah Madden (Guelph, ON) where Mepstead responded with a 5-0 win over Rachel Weldy (Midland, MI). Mepstead went on to lose 8-6 against Katie Ford (Niagara Falls, ON) in their final qualifying round match.
