Iveta Stasa-Sarsune (Riga, LAT) finished 6-3 in the 0-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Stasa-Sarsune defeated Lisa Farnell (Tunbridge Wells, ENG) 6-5, then won 7-6 against Spain's Oihane Otaegi and 10-1 against Virginija Paulauskaite (Vilnius, LTU). Stasa-Sarsune won 11-4 against Marianne Neeleman (Zoetermeer, NED), then won 6-4 against Marie Turmann (Tallinn, EST). Stasa-Sarsune went on to lose 8-6 against Alina Pavlyuchik (Minsk, BLR). Stasa-Sarsune responded with a 11-4 win over Oona Kauste (Hyvinkaa, FIN). Stasa-Sarsune went on to lose 8-6 against Marta Szeliga-Frynia (Lodz, POL). Stasa-Sarsune lost 8-7 to Kristin Moen Skaslien (Oslo, NOR) in their final qualifying round match.

The berth into the first round of the Le Gruyere European Curling Championships playoffs earned Stasa-Sarsune 14.264 world rankings points, moving up 34 spots the World Ranking Standings into 118th place overall with 28.803 total points. Stasa-Sarsune ranks 87th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 24.549 points earned so far this season.
