Borys Jasiecki (Sopot, POL) finished 6-1 in the 0-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Jasiecki defeated James Pougher (Hawarden, WAL) 7-4, then won 10-7 against Tadas Vyskupaitis (Vilnius, LTU) and 9-6 against Ugurcan Karagoz (Erzurum, TUR). Jasiecki won 11-2 against Slovenia's Stefan Sever, then won 11-4 against Denmark's Joel Ostrowski and 7-5 against Theo Ducroz (Chamonix, FRA). Jasiecki went on to lose 8-5 against Jiri Snitil (Prague, CZE) in their final qualifying round match.

The berth into the first round of the Le Gruyere European Curling Championships playoffs earned Jasiecki 15.675 world rankings points, moving up 171 spots the World Ranking Standings into 179th place overall with 19.663 total points. Jasiecki ranks 120th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 15.922 points earned so far this season.
