Thunman won 4-2 against Cecilia Fransson (Skelleftea, SWE). Thunman went on to lose 5-3 against Norberg. Thunman lost 7-1 to Moberg where Thunman responded with a 4-3 win over Gustafsson. Thunman won 8-1 against Ahlstrom, then won 7-3 against Sundberg. Thunman went on to lose 9-7 against Fransson. Thunman lost 5-4 to Wrana in their final qualifying round match.

Thunman earned 2.494 world rankings points for their preliminary round wins, moving up 23 spots the World Ranking Standings into 218th place overall with 4.909 total points. Thunman ranks 194th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 3.135 points earned so far this season.
