Ava Plett (Airdrie, AB) run at the 2017 Airdrie U15 Junior Spiel came to an end in the semifinals with a 11-0 loss to Carson Lawrence (Calgary, AB).
 
Plett finished 2-1 in the 0-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Plett defeated Tyler Johnson (Calgary, AB) 7-5, then went on to lose 7-1 against Wyatt Wright (Rocky Mountain House, AB). Plett responded with a 8-5 win over Ben Kiiset (Calgary, AB) in their final qualifying round match.
