Brent MacDougall (Dartmouth, NS) finished 6-4 in the 0-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, MacDougall lost 8-5 to Charlie Sullivan (Saint John, NB), then responded with a 7-5 win over Bob Smallwood (Whitehorse, YK). MacDougall went on to lose 7-3 against Mike Anderson (Thornhill, ON). MacDougall responded with a 6-4 win over Tom Buchy (Kimberley, BC). MacDougall won 5-2 against Dennis Watts (Charlottetown, PEI), then won 7-2 against Charlie Robert (Sault Ste.Marie, NONT). MacDougall went on to lose 7-5 against Chris Ford (St.John's, NL). MacDougall lost 3-2 to Robert Desjardins (Chicoutimi, QC) where MacDougall responded with a 5-3 win over Warren Cross (Avonair, AB). MacDougall won 5-4 against Jamie Koe (Yellowknife, NT) in their final qualifying round match.

. For week of the event schedule, MacDougall did not improve upon their best events, remaining at th place on the World Ranking Standings with total points. MacDougall ranks th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with points earned so far this season.
