Stjerne went on to lose 9-5 against John Shuster (Duluth, USA). Stjerne lost 10-8 to Thomas Ulsrud (Oslo, NOR) where Stjerne responded with a 9-8 win over Chang-Min Kim (Uiseong, KOR). Stjerne went on to lose 7-6 against Kyle Smith (Perth, UK). Stjerne lost 6-4 to Yusuke Morozumi (Karuizawa, JPN). Stjerne lost 8-3 to Kevin Koe (Calgary, CAN) in their final qualifying round match.

Stjerne earned 10.579 world rankings points for their preliminary round wins, remaining in 32nd place overall on the World Ranking Standings with a net gain of 8.299 after improving upon their best so far this season. Stjerne ranks 31st overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 118.737 points earned so far this season.
